How to Make an Empty Resume Look Good in 2024

Most people have difficulty in writing an empty resume. It is because when you start writing, your mind gets null sometimes. If we have all the data, we can quickly write our personal and educational information.

But when it comes to experience, skills, achievements, projects and references, it normally takes a long time to think about what to write. Even though we have some words coming into our minds, we aren't sure whether they are correct or not!

Also, give attention to the resume design, its font and color, line spacing, and bullet points. Freshers feel very difficult while writing resumes. So we have made this short write-up for your ease.

Beginning with Resume

(i) Personal Information:

The first element is personal information, in which you list your first and last name, identification number, contact number, home address, email ID and marital status (if required). You can also give social links, i.e., LinkedIn or other professional profiles.

(ii) Educational Information:

Focus on your educational history. In this section, you write about your education, i.e.,
  • Matriculation
  • Intermediate
  •  O & A levels
  • Graduation

(iii) Objective:

The objective identifies your primary goal and highlights your hard and soft skills and educational background. It can get the hiring manager's attention in reading the entire resume and what makes you the right candidate for the position.

(iv) Work Experience:

Highlight your work experience in clear and concise wordsDon't stuff words. You can list the organization name, designation, and starting and ending periods. Use strong keywords while writing experience to optimize resume for Applicant tracking system.

(v) Skills:

List down those skills which you have in yourself. Skills tell the hiring manager about your abilities and qualities. Don't write skills in long lines.

Instead, use positive buzzwords and phrases. Mention them in bullet form so they can get attention.

For freshers, if you have no skills, you can write those you think you have in yourself. You can even highlight your problem solving skills in your resume. Don't ignore the positive energy that you have.

(vi) Achievements and Awards:

In this section, you must highlight your achievements and awards. List these achievements in solid keywords.

For freshers, if you have no achievement, you can write the one you got in graduation related to your job field. Don't let those things go empty.

(vii) Projects

Your projects are the interests you've actively followed. This is where you can show any successful projects you started or publications you made.

If you think you have no projects as a fresher then you can list down personal projects in your resume.

(Viii) Languages and References:

Almost every company requires a candidate applying for a job to speak English. So, be fluent in English. Even the English language is essential if you are applying for international jobs

If you are writing a reference, write the person's name, designation, or profession. In today's world, not adding references on a resume is preferred.
